the power of art direction -
I've declared my intention to write a novel in a month with NaNoWriMo, but I would be remiss if I didn't point out that NaBloPoMo has a really really really good logo.
I didn't finish, didn't come anywhere near finishing...between my work (about which I am passionate to the point of weirdness) and my 11-month-old kid, I got about 1/20th of a novel done. This was not the year, apparently. I'll post about it another night.
However, I do want to point out that my brother's wife, who first read about NaNo on my blog, had nearly finished hers as of Thanksgiving. So my blithe pronouncements/good intentions have paid off - just not for me.
